weather, purchase any special equipment or find the right gym to go to. You don't even need to
get out of your house at all. It's actually very simple - all you need are intentions! I'll
coach you through the rest!
Starting tomorrow you can be on your way to become a better, healthier version of yourself.
Whether you're a total beginner or an established yogi, together we'll build a strong practice
to help you develop a resilient, balanced body, enjoy stiffness-free joints and pain free
flexible back using traditional Hatha Yoga techniques.
We'll also work on recommended ways of breathing to improve focus and concentration, anxiety and
stress reduction using the power of in sync breath with movement to induce calmness.
In 2007, my love affair with Yoga began.
I was an enthusiastic freshman running for my college's track team when I developed a shin
splint injury that prevented me from practicing my favorite sport at the time.
Finding Ashtanga Yoga has helped me to fully recover. Beyond the physical practice, Yoga has
woven wonders into my life, offering a sense of calmness during exams, boosting confidence,
enhancing focus over extended periods, and bringing a lightness to my body in everyday life.
17 years of practice later, 3 Yoga teacher training courses (2 in India) and years of experience
teaching Hatha, Ashtanga based Vinyasa and Power Yoga, and I'm still in love with the practice,
curating sessions tailored to the specific needs of my students.
This includes working with people who have backache, sensitive knees, broken shoulders, hernia,
high blood pressure, neck and wrists injuries, arthritis, anxiety, dancers who seek to improve
their strength, balance and flexibility and others.
I am constantly updating my knowledge through advanced workshops with leading teachers in the
US, India, Israel, Italy and Thailand.
I am particularly interested in helping students achieve proper alignment, which can help to
prevent injuries and pain, improve posture and to build layer by layer the foundations to more
advanced postures, while becoming stronger, flexible, fit and in control of each body part
without much effort. As a seasoned Yoga teacher and a former engineer, I am passionate about
teaching structured and creative classes that are grounded in science-backed techniques.
What I find most rewarding in teaching Yoga is witnessing my students' immediate transformation
after the class- they radiate happiness and vitality, as opposed to their sometimes initial
state of being tired, stressed or just in a bad mood before. My heart expands when they share
how their back pain has diminished or disappeared, their joint stiffness has eased, and how they
are proud of their new abilities. I love being able to provide answers and advice if they have
questions about situations in daily life (such as yogic way to deal with insomnia, low energy or
anxiety), all of which contribute to enhancing their quality of life.
I welcome students of all levels, offering my guidance at Tribe fitness yoga & coaching, RAE studios, UN Plaza, and teaching at retreats, providing groups and corporate classes as well as private classes at the comfort of your home.
